The Handing Taking of the Central Machinery Unit (CMU) and Agriculture Machinery Training Center (AMTC) to FMCL was conducted today. The signing was done between the Director, the Department of Agriculture, and Offtg. Chief Executive Officer of FMCL in the presence of Hon’ble Dasho Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL).
The Chair, Board of Directors of FMCL, Representative from the Ministry of Finance, and relevant senior officials from the MoAL attended the signing ceremony.
The physical handing taking at the regional offices will be conducted soon. It includes the CMU head office - in Bumthang, the regional office in Khangma -Trashigang, and Samtenling under Sarpang Dzongkhag. Accordingly, the services from the centers will be planned and made available to valued customers.
A program is part of a transformation exercise initiated by the ministry.
