Fmcl Paro under the direct supervision and guidance of highly respected CEO Karma Thinley is undertaking a mushroom cultivation in a controlled temperature. The project is assigned to five individuals who attended a eleventh month field attachment program in Israel by Ministry of Agriculture and Forests. The team harvested the first harvest measuring to two kilogram and sold at Nu. 200/-kg. The team is expected to produce around 4000kg of mushroom in next four months to meet their expenses and monthly runumeration. Subsequently, the individuals will be placed to commercial farms to take up and coordinate mushroom cultivation in each farm. It would also mean a stepping step to start as their own business based on the simple farm economic analysis made with the produce in due course of implementation.
