First Maize Sale in Collaboration with Karma Feed !
Today marks a significant milestone as we successfully transacted our first crop for sale in collaboration with Karma Feed. The maize was collected by our Khangma Regional Office and sold today.
Following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Karma Feed also adheres to their own rigorous process: they weigh the product with the truck, conduct 80% random sampling, and perform lab tests to ensure the maize meets their standards.
Our maize, which had already been thoroughly screened during collection from farmers, successfully qualified under their stringent requirements.
Karma Feed has consistently shown great interest in supporting our farmers. Their commitment to using locally sourced raw materials reflects their vision of retaining resources within the community. They hope to one day procure all their needs locally, fostering a stronger agricultural ecosystem.
This is just the beginning! FMCL looks forward to collaborating with other stakeholders to support our priority crops and further benefit our farmers.
